The knife has a wide cutting edge, so it is easy to cut, skive and pare leather. This is a really nice knife that fits great in hand and will help to do your work fast. Mostly, this knife is used for: - cutting large leather work pieces; - cutting long nice cuts on patterns, because it is easy to make a push-cut with the large round blade; - cutting curved corners; - making roll-cuts for some sorts of a tassel work; - paring fluky leather while preparing it for gluing; - skiving leather corners to a certain angle for stitching (for example, 45 degree corners for boxes and etc.) - with the large cutting edge it is easy to reduce the thickness of leather, especially in areas that are to be bent or folded.
