Yipee! Brand-New Pretty Postage for Your Wedding Invitations! Because Wedding Invites With Flag Stamps Are Just Sad

Look, in the grand scheme of the world, OBVIOUSLY there are more important things than what stamps you put on your wedding invitations. But as a bride, I'll admit I would have been a teeeeeny bit sad to send off my gorgeous wedding invitations with a boring old flag stamp. (#firstworldproblems, I get it.) The USPS did have wedding-themed stamps when I got married (a flower-topped wedding cake or two white roses), but they felt pretty hokey. (We went with The Simpsons postage.) So I'm happy to announce that, as of yesterday, there's a new wedding-themed stamp in town. Ta-da! Thanks to extra-heavy paper and all those inserts, wedding invitations generally cost more to mail than your average letter, so you can't slap a "forever" stamp on them and call it a day. To make sure your invites make it safely to their destinations, bring one wedding invitation, all packed up, to the post office beforehand, and have them weigh it and tell you the correct postage. Otherwise you'll end up with a billion "Return to Sender" wedding invitations in your mailbox, and that would suck. If you can get away with using a "forever" stamp, here are two cute
