Brush Universal Gray onto a clean, wax free, scuff sanded surface using thin, even coats. Sand lightly with 400 grit sandpaper to smooth out any pigment particles. For best tannin blocking, allow 24 hours drying time between the first and second coat. After that, allow 2 to 4 hours drying time between each coat and topcoats Do not use older stearated sandpaper or tack cloths. These contain silicones and can cause adhesion issues.
