After baking, it can be sanded, drilled, carved and painted with water-based acrylic paints.

Features fine detailing characteristics and does not fill in after tooling. Will not dry out; it remains soft and pliable until baked. Finish with thin washes of acrylic paint once cured. Or if using oils apply a water-based glaze first. After curing Super Sculpey bakes to a ceramic-like hardness and can be sanded to a fine smoothness.
