Burntwater is an area south of Ganado on the Navajo Reservation in the northeast corner of Arizona. The rugs of this area are distinguished by a rich combination of earth tones and pastels. This style is an elaboration of the traditional Two Grey Hills designs, and the weavers may use 20 or more colors in large Burntwater rugs.
