Priced and sold by 2 or 4oz. Sodium Carbonate, also known as soda ash, washing soda, soda crystals, is used to make water more alkaline, for natural dyeing, or, it is used to scour cellulose fibers. It's purpose is to increase the pH. Soda ash is commonly used as a laundry detergent supplement to soften water and help remove grease and oil, and to clean cellulose fibers before dyeing. It is also used to change the pH of of water when natural dyeing or with fiber-reactive dyes. Soda Ash also can be used to make an indigo vat. I ship all my products as quickly as possible.
