Sell the Kids
Sell the Kids is a way of letting people know who we are. We wanted to make sure the tracks had a uniform likeness while also showcasing a range of styles and influences. The title comes from a line in the final track “Copper n Shit”. It was produced by Andy Agenbroad at the Chop Shop. The recording experience was fantastic, both xox and Andy were free to tinker and create a unique album. Andy had a very good understanding of the kind of sound the band was looking to capture. Eric in particular was impressed at the guitar given that past engineers had trouble producing his specific requests. If you squint, there is a recurring theme about time being fleeting and navigating older relationships. We hope the album shows that we are neither goofy or serious. <3
