Made in England of nickel-plated carbon steel, these medium-fine 2-1/2 inch needles are great for seed beading and using with Superlon D or Nymo for various thread projects. They are reuseable and heftier than the Size 12 but often both are called for in projects in Beadwork magazine. They can be used to sew beads to thin fabric but are not intended for sewing through suede or leather, for that you want a Glovers Needle Size 1 or smaller. The eye of the Size 10 needle is fairly easy to thread and is often used for seed beading and threading beads with small holes. We recommend having sizes 10 and 12 on hand for general use.
