Looking for an fun easy way to try making a knotted rosary (with knotted cross) without the frustration of buying an entire roll of twine to just try it out? Great for classrooms, homeschoolers, co-ops, CCD/ RE classes, groups or individuals looking to try out making rosaries This kit comes ready to go: -Colors: Red, Strawberry Red, Coral Pink, Bright Pink, Light Pink, or one of each -Pre-cut machine dyed #24 nylon twine: Includes two twine cuts (14ft and 18inches) for easy knotted crosses - A knotting tool for easy knot making, and - Printed instructions* updated to a folded booklet format with pictures of key steps and now professionally printed. All packed in a sandwich type bag for easy storage designed for parents and teachers alike to easily keep everything together to finish the project at a later time if needed. Ages 7 and up fine motor skills are needed to make knots and the ability to read if working independently. 1 hour is the estimated time for first rosary depending on care about knot spacing. To finish the rosary an adult’s help is needed in-order to burn and seal the ends. Additional needed common household supplies not included: -Scissors -Lighter or tea light plus matches- personally i prefer a tea light over a lighter less burnt fingers) Kit options: Single color (makes one rosary) or set of five red/ pink (makes fives rosaries) Add on Crucifixes: Selected at random (1.25 to 2 inches in length sliver tone) you will receive the same number of crucifixes as twine i.e. a kit that makes 4 rosaries will come with 4 crucifixes *Printed Instruction Booklet shows how to make a knotted cross- instructions for how to add a crucifix will be included as a separate sheet of paper until the next booklet printing for those selecting this add on option;) (thank you for your understanding as i use my existing stock of booklets) **If you need a different number of kits for your group or class please message me for pricing and availability. These instructions are meant to be a starting point; hopefully a good starting point. I picked pictures of steps that I had trouble with when I was starting out (you might have different trouble spots) and revised the instructions based on testing input. (Additional input is welcomed.) I designed this kit with almost everything you need to fulfill a need i saw (ie having to buy all the components separately and still needing to search the web for instructions). I started making knotted rosaries on the train and the internet connection was spotty or my phone was always dead, so printed instructions were something I was looking for. Others they might want a craft that doesn’t require the internet which is why I decided to offer printed instructions.
