I took this photo in Chobar, Kathmandu, Nepal. The Chobar steps are a popular workout site for Nepalis and foreigners who are prepping for treks. At the top of the steps is the Chobar Dhoka (gate) followed by a neighborhood temple. Inside the temple square are displayed hundreds of metal plates! After local couples are married, they hang up one of their nicest wedding gifts as an offering to their gods.
