Woven in the UK. 12-14 count 100% cotton monks for punch needle and rug hooking. It is one of the most popular fabrics used for punch needle . It has a loose, even weave, cotton fabric which is durable and flexible when used with a punch needle. It has 12-14 holes per inch with white lines every 2 inches, to guide you when stretching out the fabric and drawing your design. The fabric is very forgiving as it allows you to pull out your stitches and work on the same part of the fabric - this makes it perfect for beginners. Suitable for use with the Lavor adjustable punch needles, the Oxford punch needles and with the largest tip of the Lavor Punch Needle embroidery set. If you buy more than 1 metre it will be cut as a continuous piece. Monks cloth frays easily, it is recommended that you tape or overlock (serge) the edges upon receiving to secure the edges.
