Easy to change from cut to loop The KRD I is equipped with a mechanism that makes switching from cut to loop (relatively) easy (easier than ZQ II). Please note that it still requires a good understanding of the machine. Turning the machine on after changing the settings but not correctly, can break the machine. Cut pile involves the gun cutting the yarn as it is pushed through the cloth so that it has a longer, more textured finish.
