Knotwork needleminder

My "Byzantine Motifs" series of needleminders is inspired by the tiny decorations and ornamentations found in Byzantine manuscripts and iconography. These lovely motifs are tiny works of art! Needleminders are terrific for not just holding your needle when not in use, but for securing your fabric as you stitch, or holding your pattern to your frame. They can even be worn as a beautiful magnet pin! Many people associate knotwork with Celtic art, but it also occurs in Byzantine art in myriad forms all the way from large knotwork borders found in Byzantine illuminated manuscripts down to tiny interlacings such as this one. I

Hoop Flair needle minders are shiny, hard enamel with a strong backing magnet. Put the magnet at the back side of your fabric, and the decorative side to the front. Your needle will stick to its face when you need to temporarily set your needle down! Incredibly helpful as you work, and pretty to enjoy. (Yes, you can also wear it on your jacket.)
