Antique hatchet axe woodworking carpenter tool. Has nail puller in head.
Completely unmarked. Original handle has a crack and a split but feels firm in the hand.
Head is 9 ¼ inches from blade tip to hammer edge. The round hard wood handle is 13 ½ inches from tip to tip. Hatchet head has a nail puller.
Nice metal reinforcing stirrups strengthen the handle to head connection which is only slightly loose.
2 ¼ inch blade edge. An interesting antique. Thanks.
