Description

1845 - 1845, London, John Murray, two volumes, new edition in Tegg's Family Library, ppvi + 296 + 24; 316, black and white frontispieces, blue cloth. The water-stain frontispieces and uneven dust patterns on the top edges suggest gatherings were laying around in the printer's warehouse unbound for some time - Irving's and John Murray's publishing history is quite complex. Water stains on frontispieces, otherwise good. - THE SKETCH BOOK OF GEOFFREY CRAYON.
