All three of the known cast iron advertising items from the Liberty Foundry, St. Louis, Mo.. Liberty Bell paperweight, cigar box opener tool and ashtray, dating to the late 1800s to the early 1900s. Ashtray: 4-1/4" diameter, 3/4" deep. Cigar box hatchet tool: 4-5/8" long footprint. Liberty Bell: 2-3/4" diameter x 3" tall. Approximate measurements. No cracks, outstanding iron patina, clean, no crud in the ashtray bowl, absolutely beautiful examples. The Mo. for Missouri on the tool has a bit of a casting or wear flaw, zoom in for a better look, not a big deal in my opinion, you decide. The camera shows a bit of a bronze undertone around the perimeter of of the ashtray where the wording is, it is faint but shows up in the pictures more prominent than it actually is.
