There are so many gorgeous makeup palettes out there these days, eye shadows or bronzers or highlighters done in cool designs like flowers, logos, or whatever. My thing is that when I first get one, I always hate to disturb the pretty pattern—it's like the makeup equivalent of stepping all over some meticulously crafted Navajo sand painting. (Obviously, destroying a Navajo sand painting would be worse, but you see what I mean.) Am I the only weird one out there who feels like this? —Stephanie
