Description

Cotula coronopifolia (Golden Buttons) is a creeping annual or short-lived perennial with cute yellow button daisies packed with up to 200 disc florets. Blooming in summer, they are borne on fleshy stems clad with simple or pinnatifid, aromatic leaves. Native to South Africa, Golden Buttons occurs naturally along edges of saline or freshwater pools. Cotula coronopifolia can be grown as a decorative plant around the pond's edge, or in a container water garden.
