Res Care® will chemically clean the fouled resin bed of a water softener and restore the exchange capacity of the resin. Over time, most types of water softener resins can become fouled with iron and other contaminants that decrease the performance and efficiency of the ion exchange system. This fouling can also cause channeling, pressure drop, loss of capacity, water hardness, and iron leakage. Don't let this happen to your softener!
