Clairefontaine Pastelmat Pads are perfect for dry and wet techniques using pastels. Available in a range of colours and sizes, the 360gsm paper is highly durable and water resistant making it great for blending. Each page is made from card with a thin layer of cellulose fibres on top and is protected by a sheet of crystal paper. Choice of pad sizes. Each contains 12 sheets in four assorted colours: beige, sand, sanguine and dark grey.

This is a Pastelmat top bound pad of 12 sheets. Each sheet is protected by an interleaf. Pastelmat is a premium 360 gsm card surface with a unique velvety texture made from a fine coating of cellulose fibres which has the ability to grab and hold multiple layers of even the softest pastels. Pastelmat significantly reduces the need for fixative so that colours remain vibrant. It has the added bonus of being gentle on both fingers and blending tools.
