Blade: 3.5 1084 high carbon steel Handle: 3.75 maple burl (stabilized) Sheath: black leather, belt loop, right handed   I designed the Cape Hunter for a custom commission, as a hybrid between a caping knife and a general purpose hunting knife. As with many of my models, I liked it so much I decided to make more. The design is ideal for a wide range of tasks. It is comfortable in the hand, with a contoured full tang handle shaped for multiple different grips. This is a small, sturdy, “using” knife, meant to work hard and take a beating. If you are not a hunter, don’t let the term scare you away; this knife has outstanding utility outside the context of hunting. Hunting knives in general are nearly always compact, durable knives with versatile profiles and rugged edge geometry. This design is no exception.
