Each piece of safety eye comes with a washer (backing) that can be easily installed by hand without any tools. Please note that for the 10mm x 8mm oval, the washers come with tiny spikes as shown in the 7th photo.Also note that for the 12mm x 9mm oval, the color of the washers (backings) may vary as shown in the 8th photo, but they work the same way.
