AMACO Velvet Underglaze Set 3 contains 12 assorted colors that includes 2 oz. each of mint green medium brown royal peach maroon hunter green violet amethyst red light red real orange cinnamon and electric blue. Glazes fire true to and have the soft look of velour when unglazed. Glazes can be fired to cone 05/06 for detailed design work or up to cone 6 while maintaining their intensity and brightness. Glazes are intermixable for a variety of colors.

Equally great when used to cover large areas quickly or for detailed painting and decoration. Paint on Cone 04 bisque and apply covering before final fire. Or, paint on greenware, fire to Cone 05-10, then apply a covering glaze for final fire. If left unglazed, Liquid Underglazes should not be used on surfaces which come in contact with food or drink.
