Incredible advertising crate with a fantastic lithographed label for Alma Polish, Boots, Shoes and Satchels that had been turned into a portable cobblers or shoe repair workshop. Dovetail crate with outside label remnants and beautiful interior label, hand forged hinges and leather stays. Inside you will find various iron shoe lasts, laces, tacks, nails and rivets, needles, and a collection of early awls, tins and a cobblers hammer. All put together neatly in this make do travelling shoe repair cobblers tool kit. Box closed measures 16” by 16” by 6”. Circa 1890-1900. See photos, you get everything pictured.
