A long time running brand of hobby knives, this basic kit comes in it's handmade, box joint, hinged box, Inside are 3 handles for the blades to be attached. 2 are metal, 1 has a molded resin handle with metal extension to hold wider blades. There are 3 boxes of blades that came with this, each still has some in it. Whittling blade box, assortment box and No. 11 blades in the other. Sturdy, handy, almost a household staple for crafting, whittling, wood work on doll houses, you name it. Since 1930s, when Sundel Doniger, a Jewish Polish immigrant to the United States, invented a knife to use as a scalpel, but was told it couldn't be cleaned properly, his brother gave him the idea it would make a great hobby knife.
